Considering a Breast Augmentation and live in South Florida?

If you live in South florida and If you've always wanted larger, fuller breasts, but don't know where to get started, you've come to the right place. Breast augmentation in South florida is a major surgery, so it's important to research the procedure and possible surgeons as much as possible. Here's a quick overview:

The Procedure
Breast augmentation can make you look younger. Many women decide to get this procedure after having children, while others just want to improve their appearance. Whatever your reason, here's what you can expect. With a breast augmentation, implants are placed behind your breast tissue or right above the muscle. Together with your surgeon, you can choose the shape, texture, thickness and profile.

Kinds of Implants The most common choices are saline and silicone. Silicone implants tend to be smoother and more natural looking. They were re-approved by the FDA in 2005, but still carry some risks. Saline implants are considered safer in case there is a rupture, but some patients complain they don't look as natural.

Silicone vs Saline So which one do you choose? Silicone implants look and feel softer, and therefore more real. They tend not to ripple or wrinkle. On the downside, they are more expensive and require a bigger scar. Also, the FDA recommends MRIs to detect ruptures since there is no other way to detect a leak with these types of implants. Saline implants, the more affordable of the two, tend to require less corrective surgery. The scar is smaller, and there's no need for MRIs because if there is a rupture, the leaking saline is harmless and reabsorbed by the body. You'll also notice right away as the breast will appear deflated. However, saline implants tend to appear more stiff and round, and are heavier than the silicone option.

When undergoing any type of plastic surgery, you have to consider the risks. With breast augmentation, risks vary from pain and infection to change in breast sensation, and implant leakage. Other complications may include bottoming out, where your nipple points upwards; symmastia, where breasts look too close together; or capsular contraction, which can cause your breasts to look distorted. All can be corrected.
